Gore’s passive diffusion sampler, the GORE® Module (GORE-SORBER®), detects more than 90 compounds, in the range from C2 to C20, emitted by charged reservoirs in a parts-per-trillion range. Using sensitive gas chromatography and mass spectroscopy, combined with Gore’s Amplified Geochemical ImagingSM technique, a probability map is constructed to focus exploration efforts. When combined with other exploration G & G, success rates can be doubled.
