Gore’s Electromagnetic Compatibility Lab characterizes the ability of our products to function satisfactorily in their electromagnetic environment without introducing intolerable disturbances to that environment, or to any other equipment. We utilize our knowledge and expertise in electromagnetic interference and susceptibility to determine the most accurate cable shielding effectiveness measurement over the useful frequency range of the product.
We use a number of test methods including wire injection, current clamp, sniffer probe, isolated chamber techniques to test, quantify and compare results to the desired microwave performance requirements. Our engineering competencies include high-speed interconnects and RF cable assemblies. Cable assembly modeling and optimized simulation techniques allow us to design shields for their best performance. This ensures you are getting an assembly that is fit-for-use tested for its intended environment.
