The Friction Test
We wanted to see how our cables compared to the competition so we simulated tough conditions and tested both cable types. We did accelerated, aggressive wear tests, simulated on-bike conditions for cable routing and even injected water, mud and road "dirt" to simulate real riding conditions.
The result: GORE® RIDE ON® Cable Systems demonstrated significantly lower friction than competitive cables for the duration of the test.
